Place a short-cut to this program in your Startup folder. Readme.txt This file. File_Id.diz a BBS description file. Usage ----- The function of Tray Min Max is to provide quick access to the Windows 95(tm) desktop. I have always found it a bother to try and right-click on an unused portion of the taskbar to perform the Minimize All windows. When this program is run an icon will appear in the taskbar tray. Initially, an icon similiar to the minimize button found on a window caption. When clicked, all open windows will be minimized and the icon will change to the tray icon will change to the restore/maximize icon. You can also specify a hotkey to use such as the default Ctrl+Space. To change the hotkey, right-click on the icon and choose properties. Select the hotkey control and press the hotkey of your choice. Note that the Ctrl+Space hotkey cannot be specified. To get around this check the Ctrl+Space checkbox and the software will force Windows to allow that hotkey. This hotkey will perform the minimize and restore operation. To exit the software right-click on the icon to bring up the context menu. You can choose Shutdown. The software performs a simple task so the documention is as simple. History ------- v1.0 Initial release v1.1 Fix bug for top level windows having parents. This problem occurs with Visual Basic programs and the Delphi 2.0 environment. Switched logic to have the taskbar perform the min/max operations. This is only a partial implementation since I was unable to determine when the same actions are performed by right clicking on the taskbar. v2.0 Support added for hotkeys. Default hotkey is Ctrl+Space. Thanks to Peter Aschbacher for the suggestion. Disclaimer ---------- This software is provided without any warranty. Use of this software is at your own risk.
